About Us
Our passion is to transform forgotten and worn objects into beautiful decorative pieces that illuminate and beautify spaces.
The story
We are artisan artists who have woven their story in wood and light. Originally from Cuba, we brought our tradition and creativity to the lands of Quebec, Canada.
Our hands became familiar with the grain of the wood and our eyes lit up as we discovered the endless possibilities each board holds. The old doors of colonial houses, worn shutters and abandoned furniture became our canvas. Every chip, every imperfection had a story to tell.
Lamps were our first creations. Inspired by the nights of Havana, where old street lamps cast golden reflections on the cobbled streets. The bare filaments of the bulbs evoked memories of nights of dancing and laughter in the courtyards.
Our furniture also had a soul. Coffee tables made from pallet boards have found their way into homes, holding steaming cups of coffee and beloved books. The restored chairs, with hand-woven seats, invited people to sit and share stories.
The Havana Craft Fair was our presentation stage. There, among the stands of ceramics and wooden sculptures, we share our creations with the world. Visitors were amazed by the combination of the old and the contemporary, the warmth of wood and the nostalgia for times gone by.
But life took us beyond the beaches of Cuba. We moved to Quebec, Canada, taking our passion and tradition with us. Here, between snowy forests and excellent artisanal traditions, we continue to create. Lamps
are now inspired by the Northern Lights, and the furniture adapts to the rustic style of mountain chalets.
Our passion is to transform forgotten and worn objects into beautiful decorative pieces that illuminate and beautify living spaces. We focus on creating vintage style lamps, using recycled resources and giving them a second chance. Our workshop is a sanctuary for forgotten objects, the stories hide inside and become shared stories.
We focus on creative recycling, we explore dusty corners of flea markets, abandoned warehouses and forgotten corners in search of hidden treasures, from old windows to bicycle wheels, everything has the potential to become a unique piece, inspired by nostalgia for past eras, we create light sculptures with retro details and timeless charm.
We work by hand with dedication and care to transform recycled materials into functional works of art. Every weld, every sanding and every polish is done with love and precision. We use low-energy bulbs and LED lighting to minimize environmental impact. The light that emanates from our creations not only illuminates rooms, but also raises awareness of sustainable lighting.
Our mission is to contribute to the care of the planet by reducing waste and reusing materials, creating warm and welcoming environments through light and design, and promoting moments of relaxation and pleasure in spaces illuminated with love and creativity.
The story
